Content Strategist | REF:0114

Do you have a passion for Content and the experience to back it up?   

We are looking for a Content Strategist/Content Lead to join an international b2b agency that is really making waves. You will be the mastermind behind the creation of ‘best in class’ content and strategies, backed up by informed insights from the agencies own internal insight team.

You will provide direction, leadership and day to day support for their internal team of writers and you will be an advocate for content and its importance to the digital customer experience.   

You’ll work with the wider business to identify new content opportunities and provide ongoing adjustments to improve content performance. You’ll also be able to produce long and short-form content including case studies, web copy, brochures, white papers, direct mailers, web banners, email and much more.   

What you will be doing?

You will develop insights and strategic response to brief across campaign, content and New Product Development briefs
You will help evaluate ideas and concepts against client best practice and strategy frameworks
You will help establish effective ‘ways of working’ with internal teams and specialist partners
You will advise clients and internal teams on approaches to effective Content Strategies that inform content briefs and requirements
You will assess, develop and implement effective content strategies to meet client briefs across all necessary touchpoints
You will be a facilitator for ‘right first time content’ ensuring that we have the right insights and collaboration to direct content strategy development

What experience you will need?

You will have worked within a similar b2b environment with a solid digital background - either at an agency or in-house
You will be aware of competition, digital design, content standards and trends within the industry
You will have the ability to think creatively and logically
You will be a strong communicator and have credibility liaising at a senior level
You will have the ability to explain complex topics in simple language
You will have experience of creating and managing a wide range of digital content
You will have a deep understanding of how to produce and edit written content
You will have a proven track record of managing a content team
You will be confident managing workloads, timelines, resource and budgets
You will be a nutural mentor, with strong supervisory, and team-building skills
You will have high standards and a strong work ethic
You will have the drive to succeed in a fast paced & demanding environment
