This is a new role and you will be reporting to the Head of Strategy and Planning and will be working closely with client services and digital teams in delivering results. Our client works with brands that are at the forefront of technology, and as such you will have the opportunity to develop new skills in supporting a growing insights and analytics function – helping to drive effective marketing programmes.
About the Role
The role will encompass everything from scoping and undertaking social listening and research projects, through to social strategy development, social content planning and editorial calendar management, through to campaign evaluation, optimisation and reporting. Our client is looking for someone with a passion in social media management and research, however it would be a bonus if you also have experience in digital campaign activation – whether this is paid social, or web analytics and reporting.
What you will do
Perform content and social audits (channels, competitive SOV, keyword trends etc) as part of client discovery projects and strategy development
Scope, set-up, manage social research and social listening projects
Undertake share of voice and competitive reporting using social listening and digital tools
Develop social content calendars and writing / editing social posts
Work with Head of Strategy and Planning to develop further insight services
Research and identify new tools and technologies to support agency and client needs
Keep the agency up to speed on latest trends and technologies
Undertaking campaign reporting and web analytics for clients
You will probably have 5 years social media experience, good communications skills and ability to manage workload across different clients and projects. You'll be a self-starter, happy to take the initiative, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues to define strategy. You will have strong social analytical and writing skills, and broader digital marketing knowledge would be an advantage. You are probably in a dedicated social role at the moment, within a PR, digital or integrated agency, and looking for new opportunities to grow.
